Catalogues are a great way of showcasing the products your company offers to customers. Even in the digital age they remain one of the most effective offline methods of communicating with your customers. When designing a catalogue there are several tips you should consider to ensure it is retained by your customers and offers a long life span. - Consider your target market: Your catalogue should always be well targeted to your audience. A well designed catalogue should be both informative and enjoyable to read, using eye catching graphics to create buyer interest. - Highlight key products: Take time to choose key products you wish to strategically promote and fine tune the design of your catalogue to emphasise these. - Promote special offers: If you are running special offers be sure to emphasise these with additional graphics and design elements. Include plenty of information to make ordering as simple as possible for your customer. - Get your catalogue out there: There is no point in having a well-designed catalogue if no one receives a copy. Whether you mail it out, display it in store or include a copy with each sale, consider how you plan to distribute your catalogue. - Gather feedback: Once your catalogue has been distributed be sure to analyse its performance and gather feedback from your customers. This will allow you further improve your design next time.
