A Christmas Message from Colour Print

Posted on 21/12/2016

As 2016 draws to a close, we’d like to take this opportunity to take a look back over our year and thank everyone who helped us make it such a success.

Going Digital

In April, we launched our brand-new website – and doesn’t it look fantastic? The new site is a modern, fresh update that brought Colour Print into 2016 and made it easier for people to get in touch with us and request a quote. We’ve also been sharing more on our sociable areas, launching a very popular competition to win 500 free business cards, and now have over 600 followers on Twitter! Although print is, of course, our speciality, we know digital is important too, and we’ll continue to reach out to our customers online next year.

Out and About

At Colour Print, local businesses are our main customers, and supporting them is very important to us. That’s why we always get involved with the Norfolk business community, whether that’s through the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce or by attending local events. This year, we were delighted to attend Clapham & Collinge’s charity event Lunch on the Green and the launch of Spaces by the Hour.

Our Best Print Projects of 2016…

This year, the Colour Print team has continued to do what we’re best at: creating effective and eye-catching print projects for local, national, and even international clients. As well as our standard work – exhibition displays for this years’ business events, flyers and leaflets for the Royal Norfolk Show, and an awful lot of Christmas cards – we’ve seen increasing numbers of businesses and marketing agencies come to us for high-end, bespoke print projects. Here are some of our favourites…

1. SMOKESILVER Travel brochure

Specialist Africa travel company SMOKESILVER wanted to recreate the beauty and magic of their safaris to tempt people to join them for an unforgettable summer. We used high-quality silk coated stock to provide the best possible colour reproduction for the stunning photography.

2. VW brochure for adam&eveDDB

Award-winning communications agency adam&eveDDB approached us this February to produce a huge A3 brochure for the launch of the new T6 California VW camper van to tie in with their ‘find the California’ marketing campaign. We created a soft tactile cover, and used high-quality silk for the text that faithfully reproduced the panoramic landscape photography.

3. Corporate brochure for Nexeon

When international tech firm Nexeon asked us to produce a landscape brochure to be used across the UK and Asia, we used Simulator transparent stock to display Korean and Japanese language overlays that don’t distract from the overall piece. It’s all the more impressive when you hear we had just a week to complete it – and all while the client was on holiday!

4. Flags for Rocky Bottoms

Summer is the busiest time of the year for local seafood restaurant Rocky Bottoms, and we helped them entice customers in with high quality teardrop flags tough enough to stand up to the coastal winds.

2016 has been another busy and successful year at Colour Print, and we’d like to thank all of our clients for their support. 2017 will be our 18th year of trading, and we hope it’ll be our best yet! We’d like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
